LR Task


WWW: You are up-to-date with your blog which is great. The Moonlight film poster is a brilliant choice of text to analyse and you do a good job on this considering we are yet to learn the key concepts of the subject. The fruit bowl also looks great which is a positive sign for the creative coursework later in the GCSE.

EBI: We will need to work on representation analysis – this will be covered around Christmas in the ‘Introduction to Media’ unit. I also think written English is an area to focus on. Several of your paragraphs are all one sentence and this makes it difficult to read. You need to make sure spelling, punctuation and grammar is perfect on all your blog work!

LR: Reflect on your first month of Media. What do you feel is your strongest piece of work so far? What is your weakest? What specific skills or knowledge do you need to develop over the rest of the course? How can you improve the depth and detail of your media analysis?

LR response: 
I believe that the strongest piece of work have done is my fruit bowl and I think that the weakest piece of work I have done last month is the connotation of advert, film and etc.

Q1) The preferred reading of the media product is when the designer has only certain people to be in  the post because of how they look or what age and gender they are.
