- Typography - The title is san serif font to make look more modern
- Price - Big bold and a bright yellow to make stand out 
- Min Flash - uses star appeal to make stand out so the audience can buy it
- colour scheme - Red white and pink to show its mainly aimed towards female.

The font choice used on the cover is san serif mainly and 1 or 2 are serif.This choice connotates is that it is modern. And is for the younger generation.

The cover lines appeal to the Reveal target audience by catching celebrities at the worst time for audiences to feel good about themselves.For example, not to be self conscious and that people and celebrities eat and most likely dress the same.

4) What are the connotations of the Reveal colour scheme on this particular front cover?
The main colours they use on the reveal colour scheme is mostly pink yellow and red and the old fashioned black and white to catch the readers eye.

The people were't ready for the picture. This  suggests it was done without their permission which is paparazzi.

The difference between design and typography is that tatler uses the font of serif and Reveal there mostly use san serif.This suggests that tatler is aimed for old fashioned people whereas reveal is aimed for more modern people.

The celebrities that appear on the front cover is pregnant people also people who do not have a diet.They are represented in reveal as normal people just like the audience who are reading the magazines.

They are represented as the appearance and who is a parent this is showing that they are not different to the readers and that it is trying to make them feel better.

Reveal and tatler represent social class as tatler is aimed more for upper class and also reveal is aimed for more middle and working class.

4) What would be the preferred and oppositional readings to this cover of Reveal?
The preferred reading is that it is for people who feel a lot self conscious and that it help them feel better which is the audience.The oppositional is that this is preventing peoplefrom feeling good and is making feel self conscious.
