OMO advert: blog tasks

1) What year was the advert produced? It was produced in 1955. 2) How were women represented in most adverts in the 1950s? In the 1950s women were presented as inferior to men and men are more superior. Also, they had to be housewives and had to stay home and clean and have to listen to men. 3) How does the heading  message ('OMO makes whites bright') and typography promote the product? The title is written in serif.This looks modern and it is more see able to the reader.
