Introduction:

1) What key conventions of an advert can you find and what are the connotations of each one?
The key conventions on the McDonald advert is that there is logo and a slogan. The connotations is that they are in love with the food also very tasty and would not be able to get from anywhere else.

2) For each convention, write about how this appeals to a target audience. 
They way it appeals to the audience is that the colour scheme of it. Also, the slogan appeals by it is short and also it is catchy and everyone knows it 


3) What is the USP (unique selling point) of the product and how do you?
The USP of this product is the slogan and also the big m which represents McDonald which is the company.

Conventions
  • Pictures of the product McDonald's to remind us of the type of product it is. The M reminds of the chips that they make.
  • The Logo is bright, visible, enormous and also and sharp background . The word Mc relates to the names of the burgers.
  • The Background features the heavy use of red. It is bright and eye-catching with connotations of love and death. This makes the customers attach to the product.
  • The Slogan at the bottom is clearly visible and stands out against the background.The slogan i'm lovin it suggests that it is lovable and that everyone likes it.
  • The Colour Scheme is red and yellow.
